Original ammeter in dash,new higher rated alt under the hood,1 side of ammeter was connected to the hot lug B on the starter and 1 side was connected at hot horn relay ,main charge line from alt goes to horn relay.How would you guys hook it up now?Is it possible to just measure the batt only?Old alt was 55 or 60 amp ,new 1 is 100 amp alt.I think it would be just fine if I was only changing the alt,but I am also adding a electric fan and electric fuel pump on relays,any way to take this out of the ammeters path?Or using the old ammeter is just not going to happen?
