51 chevy rear end and leaf spring swap ??

I just bought a 79 Camaor 10 bolt to put in my 51 Chevy 2-door deluxe. Just wondering if anybody else has done this swap? If so what leaf spring did you go with? Chassis Engineering, Walton Fabrication, or what?

    thanks for the info.

I'm only installing a 250-300HP motor, so maybe I'll just try the stock springs first!

Are you running any type of traction bar?

i made up a floater setup and i am using comp ladder bars .with the engine i have in it now. and moved in the leaf springs. made up some new bushing and used stripper bolts to attach them back on the car. i made up some off set shackles i have a big tire up in the car. with all stock stuff i did have a 454 that would be about 450hp but at the track i did get a bit of windup . if this is just for the street i would try it the way you have it less you are going to be hard on it ?
