    Smile Interchangeable parts

    Hey guys, Need some help!

My brother got a 74 Chevy Nova, and we were wondering what parts can we change. Like the front-end, can we put a 72 or 70 grille, lights, and bumper on or are we going to have to the whole front-end. The interior can we put 72 door panels to carpet to headliner in or we have to find 74 interior parts. Thanks for the help.

judging by what I find on www.rustrepair.com it will all go togther the way you want it to. '70-'74 sheetmetal is the same, I don't see a problem
You don't know what you've got til it's gone

i have a 73 nova, which is basically the same as the 74, and i beleive that the 72 and before grill will fit, but will have a small gap on the top near the hood. also, if you replace the grill with a 72 grill and you want parking lights youll have to replace the bumper with a 72 as well since the parking lights are in the bumper of the 72 instead of the grill liek the 73/74. the mounts are different for the 72 and 73/74 i beleive, not sure though, could be wrong. sheet metal is all the same for 70-74 so whatever you want can go. the doors are very slightly differnt so the other panels may not fit correctly, not sure agin though. are you looking to transform your 74 to a 72 clone?
