The 302 would be a lot better engine in a daily driver. The FE's are notorious for rotten gas mileage. Use the 302, and if you want to add some performance to it later on, just build one with a 347 stroker kit and a set of aluminum heads....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
