    VIN Help...

Ok, I have a 63 Fairlane, and I've been looking for glass for it...

I've found a car, with all it's badging removed
But it looks very similar...and I am trying to find out what it is so I can check to see if the glass will fit properly.

Anyhow, this is the Dataplate off the door (It's a Canadian Data Plate, which makes research tougher)

    Code:
    PAINT TRIM
     2GG 812FF3

    SERIAL
    836133 854B 65L
Help me find out what this is!

    Thanks,
    Gibbs
So I says to myself, self I says...........
...turning around I noticed I wasn't there... so...who was I speaking to ? and if they didn't reply why didn't I ? That remains my greatest concern to this day

Actually I think I just got it.

    I believe the 65L means it's a 65Left Handdrive

    And the 854B means;
    8 - Fairlane 8cyl
    54B - Fairlane 500 4-Door Sedan

So now I just have to find out if 65 glass will fit in a 63

Well, I bought it anyhow, everything fits but the rear window.

And considering it was $100 canadian, total...I'm not complaining
