I found these pistons new on ebay from Mad Dog Racing and wanted to see what opinions you guys have or experience with them. If it helps my car is a 1971 Corvette convertible, 4spd, 3:70 gears and here is my combo so far.

    SCAT 9000 Crank
    3/8 rods
GMPP or Edelbrock aluminum 100 cc heads
    CC eXtreme solid cam.
    Edel Performer RPM AIR GAP

If you've got money to burn and want the best of the best, Wiseco is the way to go. They'll run you a little over $600 for a forged set. www.wiseco.com

Thanks I agree. But unfortunately I am on a budget and that would blow it up. MY goal is 500hp and an rpm range of 6k. I'm thinking that since I am going to be using the 3/8 rods and the SCAT9000 crank which is still a cast crank the wiesco's might be a little over kill.
