GM posi - what will fit

I'm finishing my 69 Camaro and want to change it
to a posi with 3:73 gears,
it was a 307 with a powerglide, how can I
find out what posi carrier will fit in the
stock rear end?

Sorry, it's a 10 bolt with I think
about as high a gear as they made,
I haven't pulled the cover yet.
someone gave me a whole 10 bolt rear end with 4:88's
but it doesn't look like a standard GM, I can't figure out
how to get the carrier out, or if it will fit in my Camaro.

I really appreciate the detailed instructions
but the rear end that was given to me is too
wide and the "small bolt through the spider
gear assembly" isn't there. and there isn't
a large enough hole for the spider gears to
come out, or to get at the C-clips if there are any.
I'm not sure what I have,

Eaton makes a "posi" unit for these, run about $400. Lots of vendors sell them on ebay, and you can usually contact them directly for the same pricing if you don't want to play the bid game. Just search for 10 bolt posi, or 10 bolt rear end.

this may sound like somethin stupid (i'm pretty stupid with cars) but with 4.88s it probably wasn't a street car.... it might have a spool

existed, skipped right over it in Summit,
didn't know what I was looking at.
