    63 Galaxie Posi

     



    I have no idea where to find a 9" posi for my 63 galaxie or if any other year m or models will fit. Can anyone out there help???

    buy the center section from another 9" that is posi. as long as u get 1 with the right # of splines, it will bolt right in.

    Yep, any 9" from '50"s to the last Ford pickups to use 'em in the '80's will fit. The axles may be either 28 or 31 spline, the side gears can be changed but its much easier to just get the right pieces to begin with.

    a friend of mine has a 9'' posi that he bought for his 94 f150 he is willing to sell will these work

    hmmmm... Do the new pickups even have the old style 9" with the removable center section??? Thought they were all the newer style...heck my '85 isn't a 9".... Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe a '94 has a 9" rear end...

    Right, Dave, '79 was the last 9". The '80-up uses the 8.8, not a bad rear, but it ain't no 9"!
