I'm puting an 89 Caddy steering column in my 52 Ford. It's got the high beam/low beam switch on the column. It's only a momentary switch, it doesn't click on/click off. Does GM make a special relay for this setup? I'll be using the single large sealed beam, so I want to turn off low beam when I switch to high beam. Anybody got a good schematic for this???

Should be able to use the stock GM type headlight relay. I believe the center is power..... Hopefully someone else is familiar with the old 3 connection metal case relay and has a more functional memory then mine!!!!!

I found the problem. GM uses a mechanical switch and rod that connects to the turn signal lever. It's mounted on the left side of the ignition switch on the column. It looks like a smaller version of the ignition switch. The problem with my switch is that it was removed, so no high/low beam on the column. I can overcome this by installing a conventional foot switch. Anyways, thanks for the help guys.
