    Which Carb

Ok guys I just purchased a mid 80's S-10 with a 305 small block chevy in it. The guy is giving it to me minus a carburator my question is he said he ran a Edelbrock 4bbl 600cc carb... he said there were no problems it ran fine however my question is do u guys think that is to big or what?

Just curious to get your guys opinion also wondering what brand u guys recomend this engien will be for me to use while I build my supercharged 350 so I am not looking to beef this engien up just play with it and enjoy it till the motor swap can begin..

THX in advance I look forward to talking more with u guys once the truck shows up!

I would throw a Holley Street Avenger on the 305. 570 cfm should be fine. $360 bucks new from Summit.

The last Edelbrock I bought from the zone was 210 bucks. Summit has them for 229 or so. Running it on a 283. Had it on my K5 at first, don't get the quadjajet from there. First one I got leaked gas out the sides, took it back second one idled up and down every 5 seconds surging, took it back third one leaked gas again.....................................Swapped it out for the Edlebrock and have had no problems.
