The small-chamber 396 heads are better suited to "natural aspiration". Since you are using "supernatural aspiration", If I were you I would use a set of open-chamber 454 heads.

The 454 heads will give you more piston options to suit your newfound compression. Truck 454 heads have thicker castings around the valves for better heat dissipation.
