In my 1968 chevy pick up truck. WhenI took mt starter out. I cut the wires on the fire wall rather than trying to put the back on at the stater. However, when I peal back the rubber to reconnect the wires. I seen that there we two yellow wire. One of those wires gos to the distriter and I think the other comes from the swicth. Or to swicth. My thinking is this. with the battey conected up, one of those wires will be hot. The other will not. The one thats not hot will go to the disrbiter. And the hot wire gos to the swicth. The one that gos to the dis. will become hot when key is on. Does that sound right?
