Jeff, I would definitely go with a Rochester Q-jet. You'll get better performance with it than any other 4-bbl. Honest Injun!!PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

That's the major problem. If you mess with the secondaries you can get lost in a hurry if you're not really familiar with the adjustments. I'd opt for Holley's Quadrajet replacement.
