Even though you want to keep it old school, I think I would buy one of the wiring setups from somebody like Painless wiring or Ron Francis. These kits make it easy to bring a car up to current standards, and wiring is one of those things that can make an otherwise nice car a pain, if it isn't right.
You could still loom it like the old days, and wire is wire, so it wouldn't look out of place, and the modern components like fuse block would be hidden anyway. Wiring is one of those things that even experienced rodders sometimes get confused over.
Wish somebody would leave ME a '32 3 window.

PS, consider putting an electronic conversion kit from Pertronix in that points distributor. You can't tell it is in there, but it is totally troublefree, unlike points that need set frequently. JMOLast edited by Itoldyouso; 03-19-2006 at 09:59 PM.
