I can only say that I had a '76 volare with a slant six and it had a four speed manual trans on the floor where the 4th gear was OD. It was a station wagon. That means that somewhere out there there may be rebuilt or rebuildable four-on-the-floor transmissions somewhere. That wagon was big and wide and the stick was tall so I felt qualified to drive a school bus, but I really appreciated the OD.
