Ok, it’s just me, I have never built an old rod, but I am leaning towards big wheels. I know that the original cars never had them, but so what? I like those wheels on the orange beast. What I don’t like is all the colour, it is too much of the same. I like the way it is broken up with a black stripe across the rear of the car. What I might tend to do is add a complimentary colour across the bottom eight inches of the sides of the car. Hey, that’s just me.
