Important Question
Say for instance I found a corvette or a mustang rolling chassis, with everything on it minus a body. Could I put a 1923 or a 1927 body on it with very little trouble. I'm asking this because I don't know anything about auto mechanics and I have a friend who's selling those chassis's for relatively cheap. And this seems the easiest and most cost effective way of building a street rod.

Well, number one, no mustang ever had a chassis. They are all unibody cars. Number two, the Corvettes frames are way too wide to even think about putting a T body on. Sorry partner, but neither will work.Duane S

if your buddy will sell the front subframe of the mustang or the rear end from the vette you could use them in building a frame for a hotrod.Destroy your enemy by making him your friend. - Abraham Lincoln
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
