This is our first post, and hope someone out there has an answer.

My son and I installed a 5.0 Ford engine (Edelbrock performer heads and performer plus cam), EEC-IV injection and AOD into our '56 Ford Fairlane.

Used and followed the instructions from Ford Racing for their harness.
Starts and runs well most of the time. Problem is, there is an intermittent stumble at cold start idle. Real problem, code reader cannot pull any codes from the diagnostics. The code reader works fine on my other Fords.

Any ideas out there will be greatly appreciated.
