the tool is a puller/remover. i had to thread in an adapter in the crank and then bolt this like plate thing to the holes in the HB then thread in this shaft on the adapter and turn the shaft to pull the HB off.
i gurss the adpt. in the shaft is to protect the threads in the shaft. thats cool, so you have the puller bolted to the HB and its turns the motor instead of pulling the HB off. then you have to find a way to hold the motor from turning. the best way but it takes a little work is to pull the starter and hold the flexplate with some type of bar. most of the time you can hold it at the puller with a bar.
