    Windshield swap

Hey guys and Gals Got a question for anyone with a Ford parts book. Will a Windshield from a 1987 Grand Marquis fit a 1983 Lincoln Town Car? I know that they have been based on the same platform since the dawn of time(70s), and i know for sure that the grand marq/crown vic can swap everything but the front and rear clip(Actually, you can swap them too, but it looks wierd ) But im not sure on the windshield. Can anyone help me here? I would love to save myself a few hundred dollars

They do not interchange. The Ford numbers are different and so are the NAGS numbers.

They look the same. Different part #s could just indicate different tints or some such nonsense. Ask a guy in a glass shop.

Yeah, thats what i thought R pope. I think I'll call the local bodyshop/ glasshop and maybe a Ford dealer or two and see what I can find.
