Very new here so here it goes....

We have a 1940 Chevy Truck, ready to take apart and start working on it. do we clean up the frame/chassis (I assume that is one in the same term?) and paint and start to reassemble with new suspension? Or should we get a new frame and go from there?

Would like to have digital gauges but not sure how that would work? Need a new engine, have quite a few parts but not sure if they can be used again (rather rusty), what kind of engine?
