Limiting straps no...........

First you need to get all 4 bags on there own solenoids! Teed together will sway like crazy!

If you are wanting to carve corners I hope you set your truck up low....and you look into some sway bars! all limiting straps will do is stiffen the ride and pull a wheel offthe ground when you lay it into a corner!

oh almost forgot....

Koni makes very good shocks but they are very pricey! I would recomend air ride tech for shocks because they will be close to the right frequency and lenght!

I am a believer I have seen some of ur rides!!!! OK I have what u see in the pic below,just bags on the back for now and drop spindels in the front.What should I do to complete the rear install for good handling and ride quality? No show truck here just a nice clean ride. thnx for all the help and replies!!

This pic the bag is is fully aired up,ride height is lower than this.

The rear is not as big of deal as the front is...as far as body roll is concerned! Your truck could benifet from a panhard bar to keep the rear end where it needs to be! just remeber long, low, and level at ride height! The front needs a good quailty sawy bar with good urethane links! Make sure all of your front end bushings are in good shape! Really without putting another style clip on it you won't get much better than that!

I was at a NSRA show this weekend talking with an Air Ride Technologies rep last weekend and was told that you can actually get better pricing from their vendors.He said that they can't undercut the vendors on pricing and that a lot of them have "show pricing".I have heard nothing but good things about A.R.T and they seem to have the most selection in direct bolt-on applications as well as 4-link packages.Also I agree with what was said about not using the plastic airlines.I would use hard lines for as much of the total length as possible then use the braided flex for the bag connection.It will probably save you money in the end .I am going to be installing a 4-way "fast-bag" kit on my '67 Impala here pretty soon. That's my plan so far but am too still looking for suggestions.

yeah if there not controlled seperately, it will allow the air to transfer from bag 2 bag, and that would be bad for handling. also the front will need a little more pressure than the back because of weight to have a level ride height.

Hmm, I am learning more about this subject now. :D Ok I have one more thing I am still trying to understand. Since I don't have the body of my car on the chassis can I just determine the height and all without the body on the car or will I need to put it on and then determine which bags to get? Also since I have the 79 Z28 front clip on the 48 frame then when the bags are completely inflated will it go back to a hight stance or will the car still be lowered a bit? Like what I am trying to say is that I don't have dropped spindles and even with the bags inflated I want the car to sit like 2 inches lower than stock still but not a ton and then when they are deflated of course I want it pretty slammed but not the frame on the ground. I do want the tires to stick under a lot though. See what I mean? Hard for me to explain but I just dont get how I set ride height on this front end with stock spindles. Also I am guessing I can drive with the bags almost deflated a lot but not all the way and keep correct alignment or do I have to ride with them inflated all the way just about?

Just out of curiosity what are you guys using for hard lines, i've seen and used different things so i'm curious as to what is being used. just trying to see what you guys think would look the best for show quality..

i disagree with the plastic lines comments , if they were so prone to crack,blow,leak why do semi's use them ? i have used them for extended periods of time . do not let them scare you about the plastic line , if they are installed correct they will not give you any problems.

I want my car to sit pretty close to that stance, maybe an inch or two higher since that is pretty much laid on the ground.

But braided ones are just so much better looking! Heh. How much do braided lines run for anyways? I am sure they are heaps more.

i've used the plastic line and not have anything happen it just scares me for some reason.. plus in my opinion there's better ways to do it so why not do it as good as possible..
