I was wondering if it is possible to put one of these on my 84 Chevy out the hood just for looks. If I put a new carb on the 84 then I will put a 2 inch riser, etc and thought it would looks sweet with this out the hood. I understand people with superchargers/blowers run these on their trucks or car but can this be possible on mine without one? I think with this truck I am going to run a Air Gap intake manifold which I think sits about a inch higher than the Performer series one I have now and then a 1 inch (maybe 2) spacer will raise the carb. I don't know, maybe I am being stupid and missing something here but I thought it would be something for looks and with the air filter in it or however these things are set up...
Any oppinions or info here?
