    Shawn............

As for the air cleaner question, there is one per carb inside the housing PLUS a peice of foam sandwiched between two peices of chrome grating ( don't know what else to call it ) that holds the foam in place,

I tried running with the foam and no air cleaner, and then air cleaner and no foam, then both, no difference to me.

I clean the foam if / when it gets dirty ( once so far )and the air cleaners still look new, about 7k on this set up.

Been caught in the rain a few times and it ran the same, but of corse that was not WOT.

Heres the best pic I have showing the foam / grating at the front.
