I think we all buy stuff they we end up changing our minds on. I haven't bought a lot, but there are a few small items I already know that I don't need ("Hello, eBay?").
If the PowerPoint is for your husband, do it. Any thing to losen the purse strings! If you are looking for another car, I'd wait until you actually get the car. It's easier to make a plan knowing what you need to complete your project. I'd still suggest looking south of the Manson-Nixon Line
