Run a wide blade stainless flex fan.
5-6 blades work well and it's not too noisy.

Belt driven fans pull a lot more air than does an electric.

I feel strongly enough about this that I pulled the crossmembers out of my new at the time Deuce Factory 32 frame, built and installed new ones so I could set the engine back 2" which allowed the use of a mechanical fan on the 462" Buick engine.
