O.K thanks for all the input. What I have done is.....spoken to a tool maker who has said "WHAT" and then said "this is what we will do" we are getting a block of teflon and making some spacer type things to fit both my worn shafts and a reemmed hole we will make in the base plate. Looks like it will be both cheap and fun to make..... I LOVE HOTRODS! Again thanks for the input. I think I will post some pics of this as it is going to be soooo cheap. How rare is that?
