Ok, I'm sure you all understand. Yes I would like to drive it on the street some times. And yes it will see plenty of strip time. The mistake or at least part of it is we think we can have both. I don't have much trans exprience, and hoping that the case, and the convertor is all I have to change or can.Originally posted by techinspector1
I hope this is a strip-only car, 'cause like 53fatfndr alluded to, a 4,500 rpm stall converter ain't gonna work too well on the street. Been there, done that. It's sorta like a hard-core shift kit on the street, it's fun for 10 minutes, after that it's just a pain in the ass for the rest of the time you own the car.
