tig tig i have a new 250 miller i have not use no more that five times in three years it is a great welder but my 275 lincoln tig .thin or thick it dose not matter steel or alumium. a tig is a wise investment no sparks fly on stuff no big holes burned in you no hot sparks burning the ear wax out prep work is the start of a good weld buy cup wheel for a angle grinder the nice thing about a tig is you add the rod as needed and i have a thum wheel on the torch you can turn heat up or down when welding i use my tig all the time i would think about a tig
