Sounds like a good plan, except when you are done you still have the car riding on a pickup frame. All of the springs and shocks will be way too heavy for the chebbie body. There are numerous companies that make IFS suspension kits for the frame that is under the car. One of these kits will render the correct shocks and springs for the car, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and in my opinion a much nicer package with a lot higher resale. JMOYesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
