thanks for the insight, i was probably going to change it anyway. i just wanted to know if it was an emergency situation. and yes jack i was also quite surprised when i read in my manual that my manual tranny took atf fluid. thinking it was a typo, i removed the plug far enough until it dripped red tranny fluid. thanks again.
