mouse down carb
Went to get my 37 out of storage yesterday and pulled the cover off and checked everything over(looking for mice) since I keep it in a barn. Everything looked good so I put the battery back in, slapped the throttle a few times and nothing. Just cranked, no fire. Took the cover off my 3 deuce set up and found the electric choke not working. Disconnected it and worked the choke manually and if fired right up for about 5 seconds, backfired and stopped. Open the choke and saw a mouse tail sitting in my carb. Guess I'm going to find mouse souffie in my carb tomorrow and probably down the intake. Looked at the filter and found they chewed a hole right through it to get to the carb. Had the day off from work tomorow and was going ice fishing, but guess I'll fish for mice.Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
