Was real common to use the front solid axle in hot rods and that may be the case . good luck Ed ke6bnl Some of the heavy duties econolines had 9" rear ends that are great mine has a little punny one though the 50 f1 has a 9" .Originally posted by fordychev
Thanks Ed.. I was told it was a older econoline frame but mabe they just used the front and rearends they even had a 1960s econline dash insert in the 36 dash I picked up a orginal dash since. I know its not the orginal frame I just don't know what it is thats why Im thinking of putting it on the S10 frame I got. thanks for your info. BobEd ke6bnl@juno.com
