A lot of people either don't realise that reprint shop manuals are available for the car/truck their working on or figure that it's going to be so heavily modified that the book won't do them any good.

Personally, I usually get one for every project I'm working on for because you never know when your going to run into questions like you have, or need wiring diagrams if you keeping stock guages etc.

They also usually cover whats needed to install glass (normally you have to position the glass just so to get it in).
