The seals on my 70 cuda ps box have started to leak. It's leaking from where the steering shaft enters the box. I have the correct seal replacement kit and it appears to be an easy fix. I have the steering shaft separated from the box, unscrewed the collar and removed the indexed flat washer. Now, I'm looking at this cap. I can't figure out how it comes out. I do not see any retaining clip holding it in. The IBP with the kit shows where the O rings and seals go, but no reference to how the cap is removed. I don't want to break out the all purpose hammer and force anything yet. Does anyone know how the cap is removed?
