    '37 Ford column ignition

I'm using a '37 Ford column in the '32 coupe I'm building and on the back of the column ignition block, on the bakelite, it says " Gage", "battery", and "coil". Anyone know which ignition wires go where here, keeping in mind I'm using a Mallory Comp s/s dist and HyFire box?

I believe I would first check to make sure it's in good working order. The one on my old '40 had shorted togeter and it caused the battery to constantly discharge. If memory sevres me right it was used in conjuction with a push button switch that engaged the starter. Hopefully someone will come on that has more knowledge of them than I do.

Yeah, this one's pretty good condition - there are just two contacts inside the bakelite, and that's just to turn the ignition on, then it's started via the start button. I just need to know which ignition wires got to the three terminals. Thanks tho!
