Hey,
I have been having a problem finding a starter for my f250 that lasts longer than 2-3 starts. The teeth on the starter always end up being shaved off. I have tried shimming it but it hasnt worked. I was told that they no longer make starters for a 390 and that the re-manufactured one was probably from a 351. Any ideas you have or if you have had this problem yourself and know how to fix it would be great. Thanks.
