    FireWall Question

Im about to install an msd 6al ignition into my 73 Chevy nova, I wanted to know if I need to watch out for any wiring that might be behind the firewall. I am planning on mounting it on the passenger side of the engine compartment. If anyone could help me out with a diagram or just some knowledge of the matter I would appreciate it.
    Thanks

Just take a look inside of the car in the area where you plan on mounting the box outside and see if your screws will penentrate anything. You then should be ok. I ended up mounting my box inside the car on the passenger side up around where the air conditioning unit normally goes, keeps it quit a bit cooler inside. But I don't have a heater of air cond. unit in the way. I ended up making an aluminum mounting plate to attatch the box too to get it out from the fire wall for even more cooling, not that you need to go that far though, I just thought it looked cool and made it easy to take out if needed.
