Carquest I find has most of the stuff I need, even parts for the old engines I run. I have 1 a few miles away from where I live, it's locally owned and operated by a husband and wife team, there the only workers, other than every 1ce in a while, there daughter works behind the counter, but it's approx 1ce in a year. Theres never any more than 5 people in the store, and at least the husband, ( tommy ) has been around old cars in his lifetime, and knows what your talking about, he'll spend an hour looking through the books to find a part you need, even if it's a special order light bulb ( I'v had him special order a few and none of his non newer car part listings are in his computer, only in the books, that does inclued all 6 volt bulbs ) He does have tubing benders on the wall also. It's forever been there, it's always been Reds Auto Supply, been since the late '50's, his dad opened the store, it was also a tune up garage when it first opened, then after a while, they just started storing car parts in the garage part, which is just a single car, residential type garage. I still gotta show him the '51, he said he wanted to see it.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
