vehicle DOES matter if you're trying to find these suckers in a boneyard....instead of off a speedshop shelf or Summit/Jegs catalog...these things had to have been used on a production vehicle...I just need to know WHICH ONE!!!!

these are supposedly smaller physical sized carbs than the normal double pumpers and was told they will fit as is from a guy who is currently using them on a small block set up like I wanna do. I have a Edelbrock C26 manifold...

It possible that you may be able to find your answer in a summit magazine, they have a section for factory stock carburators for mid 60's muscle cars, they have the carburator listing and what it was used on. It may also be in a hollander exchange book also, any good junk yard should have 1.
You don't know what you've got til it's gone

The numbers listed are for a Holley Universal carburetor.

It doesn't come on a particular car.

    Source of information - http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...SC/0-8007.html

The 390 cfm Holley came on quite a few cars.
I'd say stroll the junkyards and see what you can see.

You're gonna have to be lucky though.
My experience has been that the carburetor is one of the first things to be removed in the salvage process.
Could be an advantage, lotsa times the carbs end up inside in a bin and finding a matching pair could be easy.

Might want to take a look at the Mopar small block engines.
They run a fairly small AFB.
Look at the mid 60's 273 engines, particularly the Barracuda's of 66-67-68.
Rebuild kits are readily available for them - least they were a couple years back - and a couple of these would work well for your application.
