    Cleaning aluminum intake

I think this question has been asked before, heck I might have asked it! Did a search and could not find it.

Looking for ideas on cleaning an aluminum intake manifold while it is on the car. I know some of you clever detailers out there have some secrets, let's hear them please

    thanks

    Pat
Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!

if it ant chrome i don't wont it. i spent about 400.00 and 50 hrs work polishing my lt1 motor and heads and now it looks like crap if that motor ever come back out of that truck it will have paint on most of it before it goes back in. anybody that believed you can have a polished alum motor for a daily driver has to be crazy as hell and i hate to admit it but i did. john made me do it.
