looking for infor on cutting a corvette rear for a street rod.
IE how much did you cut out for a 34 ford, Wheel ofset ect????

i just finished putting a c4 vette rear in a 55 nomad and a c4 in a 37 ford . be ready for a real job this is tough to install . we took 4 off each side for the 37 and 3 off each side on the 55 . both on air bags .
it depends on how much you cut to figure out what backspacing .
i have a NONvette rear in a 33 now and it has a axle width of 52.5 and has 20x10 with a 4.5 backspacing

What is the ride like with the 37 Ford.
With the air bags how is the ride with them and would you do it over again, or use coilovers???

i hate coilovers , airride is the only way .

can you send me some pictures of the construction showning the
rear installed and did you cut the wide mount that is the cover of the rear end with the 2 big rubber mounts????
