    You are basically looking for just a little more than I am

    You are going to make some torque with your motor with any open head. Those will choke out as you said at 4500 rpms which is fine for a truck motor. To make the power you want I'd try giving these...

    those are the infamous peanut heads

    These make a good truck motor but will choke out at 4500 rpms and cannot really be modified well to make serious power according to "my" head expert.

    Ask your machinist if he has some decent heads...
