The block casting number is on the left side of the block and should start with a CXXX number ex C2=62, C3=63 etc... depending on the year the date code will be below the oil filter adapter close to...
i spin the wheel and mark center, then set it back down. i have 2 pieces of smooth tin i set the tires on so i can turn side to side to check it. real easy to get off when dealing with 1/4 inch.
