I got everything removed from the block today...
I got everything removed from the block today (except camshaft bearings). Looks like the rod bearings for #5 cylinder failed which was causing the rod knock that the previous owner had mentioned.

Another update for everyone. The date code on the block is K16. Date code on heads are D964 (drivers side) and J165 (passenger side). Intake manifold codes are 3877652 and K35.
