I contacted Ford and suggested they have a Retro Engines Program for their 100th anniversary in 2003. As part of that, I suggested they offer a 541 CID Lincoln Y-block engine more or less for '53-'56...
Changed the shocks yesterday to OEM spec Monroe, they are still gas shocks. Disappointed that the ride is still very firm, it is not as bad but I was hoping for better. Might have something to do...
