    Think the spring in the trans is tired maybe i can retension it? Any idears where i can buy a new one?

    I def thknk the spring in the column is weak...

    I def thknk the spring in the column is weak going to pop that out to day see if home depot has something.....

    1967 thunderbird 390 with c-6 trans loose shifter

    HI all,

    trying to get my t-bird back on the road. I notice the other day that my shifter has no resistance when shifting. Is the a spring or pin in the valve body that I can change?

    any help...
