I bought a 1948 International KB-1 and a 1988 Camaro. took complete drive train (350 Z-28 engine and 700R-4 trans), rear suspension, steering column, shifter, seats and more out of the $500 camaro and put them on my chopped, channeled, z-d framed internationa and had most of my rod done for under $2000. Drive shaft even was perfect length. Added new dropped front axle from speedway, new gauges, wiring etc. and for a couple thousand more my rod will be finished. So go for it!!!!!!!!
