 used a grinder with a 5/8 hole and used a 7" metal cutoff blade. worked great. i took 6 inches out.

 A good height for a T... A bit late now, but it sure helps to keep things straight if you brace the cab before you start cutting. No big deal on a T, just going to take a bit more time to keep everything straight when you weld it together....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

 Any more progress on the chop???? I am going to chop mine eventually......gonna run it stock hight for at least one hot rod season....If I EVER get it on the road!!......  nice rusty, the T is lookin good so far. I was lookin at your steering and was wondering what you were using for a steering box?
