Post 95 Ford Explorers also have a full frame with torsion bar independent front suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes and a track measurment which is very close to what you are looking for. They are strong, can be lowered substantially and are available with a V8. The two wheel drive version is probably best suited for your use.
